Three major credit reporting agencies have found that many homeowners who suffered during the housing crisis are once again qualifying for home loans. Known as ‘boomerang buyers,’ there are projections that there may be up to 2.2 million individuals who fit within this category over the next five years.
It’s uncertain how many or how quickly these buyers will engage in the market again, but between boomerang buyers, maturing millennials, and a recovering economy, it is clear that the buyers market will continue to grow.
