The 30th annual Coastal Cleanup will take place on September 17th from 9am to 12pm.
Locally hosted by the Sanibel-Captiva Conservation Foundation (SCCF) and Keep Lee County Beautiful, Coastal Cleanup is an international effort promoted by the Ocean Conservancy. Every year, individuals worldwide volunteer to pick up trash at their beaches.

All are welcome to join. You may check in at 9am at SCCF, 3333 Sanibel-Captiva Road. Remember to bring your own gloves and water bottle to reduce use of plastic. If you have any questions or would like to organize a group and reserve your favorite “cleanup” spot, call Dee at SCCF at 472-2329.
