We’re looking back at the list of “52 SWFL restaurants you must visit in 2015” released by the local, anonymous food critic, Jean Le Boeuf. It’s ok if you didn’t catch them last year, the gift of food keeps giving.
Sanibel cafe, Among the Flowers, made the list. Mother daughter duo, Jolie Black and Chelsee Schmidt, own and operate Among the Flowers. Le Boeuf described it as a “charming little Sanibel juice bar, sandwich shop and bakery [that] caters to raw vegans, vegetarians and meat eaters alike.”
News-press.com ran a feature article about the cafe when it opened a couple years ago as well, noting: “at this tiny Sanibel cafe healthy, hippy-ish charms are balanced by a fresh approach to everything from pizza to sandwiches and coffees.”
