Thanksgiving is right around the corner, and we are thankful!
As we’re all making our preparations and looking forward to spending time with our loved ones and enjoying good food, we also had the opportunity to support the local Harry Chapin Food Bank. Our Sanibel realtors partnered together to donate 72 turkeys. That’s a lot of turkeys!
Established in 1983, the Harry Chapin Food Bank has been a staple charity in the Southwest Florida region that provides food for more than 30,000 individuals per month. We’re so glad for the opportunity to partner with this awesome organization and thankful for their hard work to provide Thanksgiving meals for families and individuals in our area.
Jay Richter and Tommy Wiley shared some photos with us as they picked up the birds from Publix, transported them to the food bank, and had a chance to tour the 50,000 sq. ft. facility–which they say is quite amazing.
