John R. Wood Properties, Island Real Estate announces the film premiere of “Discover Captiva Island”. This short film has been created by Joe Mondelli with videographer Dave Stinzi. This is Joe’s second short film on Southwest Florida. The first was the well received “Explore Sanibel Island” which premiered in 2014 to great reviews.
Telling the story of Captiva Island, Discover Captiva takes viewers on a journey of life on the Island and what makes Captiva unique to it’s residents and visitors.
The creators worked on this film for over a year and are now seeing the project come full circle. “When we started with the project we wanted to show the natural beauty of Captiva and ended with not only the beauty, but the rich community life that Captiva residents enjoy.” says Mondelli
The film premiere on Monday, April 13 will be hosted by Doc Ford’s Rum Bar & Grill and South Seas Resort at South Seas Chadwicks Square located in front of Doc Fords. All are welcome to attend and no RSVP is required. Doc Ford’s will be providing complimentary beer, wine and appetizers at 8pm, film will start at dark under the stars.
