The Wall Street Journal recently published an article noting a particular housing trend for baby boomers––preparing for a home that they can age with. The number of stairs is not the only concern, but also considerations such as having enough space so your adult children can visit, designating a place to pursue your passion for gardening, and maybe even ensuring that doors provide easy access to accommodate a grandchild’s stroller.
As there’s an increasing need for homes that are designed with aging in mind, some are making renovations or building additions, others are moving to other homes, perhaps to new places.
