RealtyTrac’s Home Flipping Report showed that Florida ranked second overall for single family and condominium home flips in the third quarter of 2015. Nationwide, home flipping has increased 18 percent compared to a year ago.
Everyone in Southwest Florida is winning, according to one Florida real estate company CEO and president who noted, “the flipper is providing updated, improved inventory that is desirable to buyers.” Recent home flips have been particularly appealing to baby boomers who are retiring or plan to retire soon.
