Five Florida cities ranked in a list of the top 30 U.S. cities that have seen the most economic growth since the Great Recession, between the years 2009 and 2015. The study was conducted by WalletHub, a personal-finance website. It considered 14 metrics, including population, employment, level of education, and more.
Most notable, Fort Myers ranked 3rd for highest job growth and 14th for overall economic growth compared to all U.S. cities. Cape Coral ranked 5th for highest job growth. Lehigh Acres tied for 2nd highest overall population growth and 3rd for overall economic growth.
