John R. Wood Agent, Babs Maughan choses Sanibel School Fund for Bank Donation
John R. Wood agent, Babs Maughan was found with her “We Love Our Islands” decal on her can which won her the right to select which local nonprofit ground would receive a charitable contribution from Bank of the Islands. Babs chose to donate $900 to the Sanibel School Fund. The fund raises money to support the Spanish and STAM program at the Sanibel School. Great choice Babs!
About “We Love Our Islands Program”
Sanibel and Captiva Island offices, Bank of the Islands, are philanthropic leaders in the communities of Sanibel and Captiva. In addition to outright financial and volunteer support, through our “We Love Our Islands” program, we encourage community awareness of the many non-profit island organizations.
Founded by our CEO, Geoffrey Roepstorff, the program invites you to place a “We Love Our Islands” decal on your car. Every week, a vehicle bearing a “We Love Our Islands” decal is randomly selected. The owner of the vehicle gets to choose which island non-profit will receive the bank’s donation that week. To learn more about how you can participate, call our Sanibel office at 239.472.7211 or our Captiva office at 239.395.0248.
