The Florida real estate market and Florida cities have received a positive review for the 2015 real estate season. Through regional, national, and international investments, areas such as the Sanibel and Fort Myers real estate market have regained momentum as a real estate destination.
According to FloridaRealtors, the state of Florida finished 2015 with strong gains in the real estate market as indicated by home prices and closed sales as well as general economic indicators such as the jobs rate.
It appears there was a positive shift in sales at the end of 2014 that continued all the way through the first three quarters of 2015 as well. Especially in the single-family home market, Florida has seen steady growth for nearly a year.
Specifically cities were recently highlighted by Forbes Magazine
Orlando, Fort Lauderdale, Cape Coral, North Port, and Tampa were all featured in the top 30 American cities for real estate investment in 2016. This research was based on each city’s population growth, job growth, and unemployment rate. In addition, Forbes provides a projection of the future value of real estate. For example, Orlando was given a forecast of 28% for growth in value of residential real estate over the next three years.
The combination of overall market growth and increasing value in Florida’s cities are resulting in overall positive trend for the start of 2016.
