Music, food and fun were on tap Saturday at the annual Beer in the Bushes event to benefit the Sanibel-Captiva Conservation Foundation on Sanibel Island. Those attending were treated to a wonderful evening of beautiful Florida weather, New Belgium beer stations, hot food and music provided by the Bradenton-based Have Gun Will Travel, and headliner The Reverend Peyton’s Big Damn Band, a blues/Americana group. Specially painted bicycles and other items were auctioned at the event, which attracted some 350 ticket-holders. Proceeds from the evening directly benefit the wildlife, water management and land conservation group. – See more at: http://www.captivasanibel.com/page/content.detail/id/523828/SCCF-benefit-exceeds-expectations.html?nav=5051#sthash.rMIw1zJC.dpuf
